A European initiative to transform workplace culture through cooperation, peacebuilding, and immersive learning.
The Challenge
Today, many workplaces suffer from low engagement and unresolved tensions. Managers and trainers often lack the right tools to manage interpersonal relationships. The POL (People Over Labour) project was created to put people back at the center of work, offering free, innovative tools rooted in cooperation and peacebuilding methodologies.
The POL project blends traditional pedagogical training with state-of-the-art immersive technologies. Using branching interactive simulations, we allow users to test their real-time reactions to conflict "in the field" — bridging the gap between theory and everyday workplace reality.
Our methodology draws on peacebuilding frameworks and cooperative learning models, ensuring that every training module is grounded in proven social science — then amplified through the power of digital simulation.
A five-phase journey to transform workplace culture across Europe
Understanding Needs: We listened to over 120 professionals across Europe to map out the main relational challenges in companies and gather the best existing solutions.
Skills Development: Creating a targeted 30-hour training program focused on core relational competencies.
Learning by Doing: Developing virtual simulations (in 2D and 3D) where users face real-world workplace conflict scenarios, choose how to react, and instantly see the consequences of their decisions.
Putting Skills to the Test: Engaging professionals who will test the online courses and participate in an intensive 3-day workshop in Cyprus to consolidate their newly acquired skills.
Local Impact: Organizing a major final event in Naples to present the results to the public, businesses, and institutions, making all project materials accessible for free.
